The MJD122 is an NPN Darlington bipolar power transistor designed for high-current switching and driver applications. It features a 100V collector-emitter voltage rating, 8A maximum collector current, and a very high DC current gain of at least 1000 at 4A collector current. Its Darlington configuration allows substantial load current to be controlled with relatively low base drive current, making it useful in medium- to high-current control stages.
